Dues, registrations for events and activities, and tickets paid online carry fees. Payments received off-site do not.
The fees of an online payment
Each online payment carries:
- a Choralix commission of 1% of the payment; for a ticket, it is 1% of the price of each paid ticket, with no fixed fee, whatever the number of tickets sold;
- on top of it, Stripe's fees, Stripe being the provider that processes the payments. Their amount is set by Stripe.
Absorb or pass on the commission
The choir chooses to absorb the commission or to pass it on to the person who pays. It is one setting for the whole choir: it applies to the dues of all its periods, to registrations for events and activities, and to tickets.
The setting can also pass on an estimate of Stripe's fees; fees passed on are shown separately.
No fees
- An off-site payment: no commission.
- A free ticket: no commission.
Refund of a ticket
When a ticket is refunded, the Choralix commission on that ticket is given back to the choir.
